These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Inspekt website, Chrome extension, and related services (“Service”) provided by Inspekt (“we”, “our”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Inspekt is a design inspection tool that allows you to analyze fonts, colors, typography, assets, tech stacks, and page structures of publicly accessible websites. The Service includes a Chrome extension for real-time inspection and a web dashboard for managing saved collections.

2. Accounts

  • You may create an account by signing in with Google OAuth.
  • Each person may maintain only one account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information.

3. Free and Pro Plans

Inspekt offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan:

  • Free plan: Inspection tools with up to 2 saved collections.
  • Pro plan: Unlimited collections, saves, and exports.

Free plan collection limits are applied to total collections created (not just active ones) to prevent abuse.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law or regulation
  • Attempt to circumvent plan limitations or abuse the free tier
  • Use automated tools to abuse the Service or its API
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure
  • Collect other users’ personal data without consent
  • Use the Service to infringe on intellectual property rights

6. Intellectual Property

The Inspekt Service, including its design, code, and branding, is our intellectual property. The data you save through the Service (collections, items) belongs to you. Websites you inspect belong to their respective owners — the Service only analyzes publicly accessible information.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Accuracy of the inspection results
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Loss of data
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
